NH90 Tactical Transport
An unarmed transport helicopter that carries one infantry squad behind enemy lines and ropes it down over open ground. Built by a Helipad, up to two in the air.

NH90 Tactical Transport
The NH90 is a pure transport. It has no weapon of its own, but it can put a rifle, MG, or anti-tank squad onto any open land tile on the map. Load a squad next to the helicopter, fly it around the enemy, and rope it down.
Loading and the rope
Select an infantry squad and a helicopter together, then use Board. The squad leaves the battlefield while aboard but still counts against your population. Position the loaded helicopter over open ground and choose Rope down — it hovers for three seconds, then the squad touches down ready to fight.
- Only open land is a legal drop — the order snaps to the nearest passable tile.
- The squad is off the field while aboard, so it cannot be shot until it touches down.
Vulnerability
Everything on the ground can shoot at a helicopter in range. AA trucks are the hard counter: their flak tears helicopters apart, and HQ anti-air can engage them too. If the helicopter dies with a squad aboard, the squad dies with it.

How to use it
Build a Helipad as one of your three support buildings, train one or two NH90s, and board the squad you need behind the enemy: MG to shred a convoy, AT to ambush armor, or rifles to snatch an undefended depot. Fly the long way around and accept that a screened AA truck can end the trip early.
- Use it to bypass the front, not to fly over it — AA will punish a straight line.
- Drop on the far side of a depot or near a rear truck road to force a response.
