Short orders, clear task forces

Core controls

Select with click or box-select; Shift adds to the selection. Right-click to move, R then right-click for attack-move, and 1–4 for task groups.

Selection and camera

Click a friendly unit or drag a box around a group. Shift keeps adding. Double-click a Maus, Berliet, I-400, Sea Shadow or infantry platoon and you'll grab every friendly unit of that kind. Up to three selected units pop up as live cameras — click one to snap the main view there. On anything bigger than Micro, clicking the minimap warps you instantly.

Movement and targeting

Right-click ground to move. Right-click an enemy unit or building to focus fire — your force will chase it while it's in range. Arm attack-move with R and then right-click toward contested ground; even without a focus, your units will pick nearby threats on their own. X halts everyone selected.

Task groups and formations

Keys 1-4 are your task groups: tap to select, double-tap to focus the camera, drag the chip onto the battlefield to attack-move. Ctrl (or Cmd) + 1-4 saves. Form Line spreads your selection along a line you draw, Face pivots hulls in place, and Reverse backs vehicles up while their turrets keep tracking — Maus even pop smoke right after.

  • Hold stops and shoots only what comes close; Agile chases within range. Garrisoned infantry ignores both until it steps off.
  • Your HQ and each support building can set a rally point — new units march there on their own.

What counts as an order

Move, queued move, patrol, hold, stance changes, attack, stop, face, reverse, research an upgrade, build a support building, train a boat, launch a drone, queue a tank, call the strike jet, fire anti-air, activate Smoke Barrage or Scramble Strike, taunt, surrender, or set a rally point. The game checks every order before it runs — bad orders are just dropped.

Tips that save clicks

Double-click is the fastest way to fix a messy selection. Dragging a control-group chip onto the map is the same as attack-moving that group — use it to send a reserve without hunting for it. Rally points are per-building, so set the Boatyard's rally to water and the Barracks' to a depot lip while your HQ rallies to the truck road.
