The quiet win condition — unarmed, irreplaceable, slowly rebuilt
Berliet T100
No gun, modest HP, good speed, no ammo. Hauls about 140 supply per trip, pays on delivery with a little extra for upgrades, Hub and roads, heals nearby friends, and nudges your next tank a bit sooner.

Berliet truck
Berliets haul supply and are your economic lifeline — unarmed and vulnerable on the road. They idle at HQ until you own depots worth delivering from.
How they live
Berliets sit at HQ until you own a land depot with a ready crate. Then they choose the nearest ready crate and avoid piling two trucks onto the same one. They load, drive home, and when they touch the HQ apron you get paid, healed and nudged forward.
| Situation | What the Berliet does |
|---|---|
| No depot owned | Waits at HQ — never feeds the enemy |
| Depot crate ready, truck nearby | Loads and drives home |
| At HQ apron | Pays, heals nearby allies, nudges next tank |
| Lost | HQ rebuilds to 2 slowly; Hub rebuilds to 3 a bit faster |
How to use them
Think of the road as territory. Own the depot first, then watch the drive home — a Berliet that almost reaches the apron still pays nothing. Roads are faster and even pay a little bonus, but only if escorts cover the extra exposure. Queued orders can chain depots, but don't send a lone Berliet through a Maus ball for a crate.
Why they love upgrades
Field Logistics adds a slice each level, a Hub adds a flat chunk, and roads add another slice — a well-upped Berliet on a road with a Hub can turn a 140 load into well over 200. Only if it makes it home. The game logs every delivery for score and balance — it's the quiet scoreboard.
Protecting them
A Berliet that dies costs you the rebuild timer plus the lost cargo plus the heal and clock nudge you didn't get. That's why enemy flankers (Raiders or Sentries) hunt them: a dead truck is a dead economy. Keep a Maus on the road, or put a workshop where the road bends.
