The infantry hunter — fast, fragile, surgical

Aquila (MQM-105)

Lightest HP, fastest land speed, a 4-tile sting that loves infantry and bounces off tanks. Built one at a time by a Drone Pad up to four.

Aquila drone

Aquila drones are fast infantry hunters with short range and low durability. Use them against platoons, not against Maus or structures.

By the numbers

An Aquila loves infantry, scratches trucks, and barely dings a Maus. It's not the highest sustained infantry DPS in theory, but it is surgically fast and hard to dodge, with a sting that flies the fastest in the game.

Shoot atWhat happens
Infantry (EM-2 etc.)Rips them — couple seconds to drop a platoon
Truck (Berliet)Scratches — needs many stings
Maus (tank)Barely scratches — don't bother

How to use it

Launch, attack-move toward the enemy line, and let it re-acquire the nearest infantry. It hunts on its own. Keep it away from Maus — a single shell can one-shot it, and even AT rockets hurt. Use it to break a Barracks hold on a depot, then pull it back behind tanks.

  • Great vs infantry and trucks; poor vs armor and buildings. No splash.
  • Cancel a launch and you get most of the supply back; blowing up the Pad while launching also refunds.

Making them

A Drone Pad launches one Aquila at a time up to four (a bit more under an air-naval doctrine with faster timing). The Pad itself is a normal support building — kill it and the queue stops.

Matchups

Aquila vs infantry is a hard counter if the infantry is unscreened. Aquila vs Maus is a hard loss — even with the infantry bonus, the drone plinks armor. Use it to punish Barracks spam, not to fight armor.
